ای از لب تو به خون رخ لعل خضاب

وز خجلت دندانت گهر غرق در آب

چشم و دل من به یاد دندان و لبت

این در خوشاب ریزد آن لعل مذاب

O the one whose lips are stained with blood,

From the shamefulness of your teeth, the pearls drown in water.

This [pearl] drops sweetened water, the other [ruby] melts away.
