Continuing with transliterating and transcribing Middle Persian using the Pazend script, I have transliterated an excerpt from Ardā Wirāz Nāmag, a Middle Persian work describing a dream sequence of a devout Zoroastrian priest called Wirāz (hence, the title of the book!) The full dream sequence includes a journey sequence in which Wirāz is shown both heaven and hell (similar to Dante's Inferno.)
I would like to credit the late Destur Hoshangji Jamaspji Asa for his publication "The Book of Arda Viraz" published in 1872, from which I am transcribing said texts.
Author's note: Occasionally, I use the ZWNJ (Zero-width non-joiner) character to divide certain characters to prevent them from combining together in order to stay faithful to the original text.
