Parvin E'tesāmi was a Persian poetess who was born in 1907 in Tehrān. From a very young age, she was considered an exceptional poet, with some of her works being published in Iranian national newspapers. Her works are considered incredibly popular in Iran to this day and are highly respected. With the exception of few translated excerpts, her work has yet to be properly translated into English.
